This is our second annual slow jazz routine, to be performed at Slow Dance Soiree at the Memorial Art Gallery! This is our biggest routine of the year and we’d love to everyone to be a part. We’ll be performing for dancers from all over the country, and as the first performance of the evening, we’ll be welcoming them all to Rochester!

This routine is a slower tempo than many of our recent performances (around 120bpm), but that will give us all the room we need for a lot of rhythms, groove, and smooth moves.

Our song is Moon Ray by the Boilermaker Jazz Band.

Class Details:

• Open to all, no audition required

• $180 for 12 classes ($15 per class).

• 12 weeks of rehearsals, Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:45pm, April 22 - July 8.

• 1 performance, on the evening of Friday July 11th, at 10pm. At the Memorial Art Gallery.

• Rehearsal location: The Rose Room, 295 Gregory Street, Rochester NY

• The costume will include dance heels and knee length skirts. Parts of the costume will be provided, other parts are required to be purchased by each dancer (see below).

• Heeled character shoes
